John Lee Tyrrell, 50, of Conway died Wednesday (April 21, 1999) at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock.
Born June 7, 1948, in Kansas City, Mo., a son of Clyde and Evelyn Wagner Tyrrell, he was manager of the Oak Street Kerr McGee Service Station for 15 years, a retired police officer at the University of Central Arkansas and a member of Beryl Baptist Church in Vilonia.
Survivors are his wife, Phyllis Cockrill Tyrrell; two daughters, Leanne Tyrrell and Heather Tyrrell, both of Conway; and four sisters, Ruth Rainey of Higginsville, Mo., Charlotte Logan of Benson, Ariz., Edith Murr of Macks Creek, Mo., and Lou Ella Day of Springfield, Mo.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Pridmore officiating. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Holland, Grant Tomlin, Bill MacKeen, Scott Ball, Tom Falls and Keith McCord.
