Ernest Paul Precure, 76, of Rogers died Jan. 24, 1995, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born May 25, 1918, in Oklahoma City to Ernest Paul and Mary Helen Thayer Precure. He was a former strawberry grower and raised broilers. He founded Rogers Sand and Gravel Co. in 1952. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Liberty Kidd Precure of the home; three sons, Clarence Paul Precure, Jimmy Don Precure and Erney Lynn Precure, all of Rogers; two sisters, Millie Floyd of Oklahoma and Anna Ruth Mosey of Florida; two grandsons, Mike and Bryan Precure of Rogers; two great-grandsons, Brice and Brady Precure, both of Rogers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers with Marvin Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
