CONCORD — James Alexander, 31, of Concord died Wednesday, July 21, 2010, in a Batesville hospital.

Born April 30, 1979, at Blytheville, he was the son of James and Patricia Koonce Alexander. He was employed by Townsends of Arkansas Inc. He was a member of Concord Family Worship Center in Concord.

Survivors include his wife, Brandi Alexander; his father of Concord; two brothers, Spencer Alexander of Concord and Mike Alexander of Mountain View; five nephews, Colton Alexander of Mountain View and Jason Cooper, Aaron Hicks, Ethan Osborn and Isaac Osborn, all of Concord; and four nieces, Shawna Jeffrey and Paige Jeffrey, both of Conway, Lauren Cooper of Fayetteville and Sara Alexander of Mountain View.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Concord Family Worship Center in Concord with Dale Duke officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery at Drasco under the direction of Qualls Batesville Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Cooper, Alan Jeffrey, Bill McGlothlin, Jamey Tate, Anthony Tate and Coy Davidson.

Honorary pallbearer is Wiley Osborn Jr.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
