This cemetery has been active from 1850 till now, very few gravesites have been filled in the last twenty years as it is almost full. It was called City Cemetery, and Forrest City Cemetery, and is located off Hwy 1 south of Forrest City, just east, behind the St.Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The Forrest City Country Club is just to the east of the cemetery.
