ROGERS — Glen A. Winkleman, 91, of Rogers died March 15, 2006, at his home. He was born June 23, 1914, in Rogers to Thomas Albert and Lily Ross Winkleman. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in Normandy, Northern France, the Ardennes and the Rhineland. He was awarded the American Theater Campaign Medal, EAME Campaign Medal with four Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, Victory Ribbon, one Service Stripe and two Overseas Service Bars and the Goad Conduct Medal. He retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include one son, Phillip Winkleman of Grandview, Mo., and one daughter, Vicky Winkleman of Rogers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers with Bill Norman officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Saturday.
Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
