BELLA VISTA — Ralph Raymond Robinson, 88, of Bella Vista died Jan. 25, 2008, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Aug. 30, 1919, in Wilsey, Kan., to Charles S. Robinson and Melinda Chalker Robinson.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. He moved to Bella Vista in 1981 from Perry, Kan. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, the AARP and Bella Vista Amateur Radio Club. He enjoyed gardening, golfing and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mina Robinson, on June 16, 2003.

Survivors include four sons, Raymond Robinson and wife Pat of Green River, Wyo., George Robinson and wife Sandra of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Philip Michael Robinson and wife Lori of Fayetteville, William C. Robinson and wife June of Gardner, Kan.; one daughter, Linda Ann Bontrager and husband Orvin of Aurora, Neb.; one brother, Willard Robinson of El Paso, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Church Grounds and Beautification, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista, 72714.
