BELLA VISTA — Gerald "Jerry" Leffler, 74, of Bella Vista, died Oct. 12, 2004, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born Oct. 15, 1929, in Gary, Ind., to Benjamin M. and Ethel Bulkeley Leffler. He worked for State Farm Insurance for more than 30 years as an insurance agent. He was a fast lieutenant with the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the United Lutheran Church, choir and hand bells, and was a 10-year member of the Bella Vista Crime Watch.
Survivors include his wife, Sally, of 49 years; his son, Kevin Leffler of Bloomington, Ill.; his daughter, Kimberly Leffler of St. Louis.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the United Lutheran Church of Bella Vista, 100 Cooper Road. The family requests instead of flowers that memorials be made to the church, 100 Cooper Road, Bella Vista, 72715, or to the Oaks Indian Mission, P.O. Box 130, Oaks, Okla., 74359.
Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory.
