Mary Kay Wren, 71, of Blytheville, passed from this life Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

Born in Blytheville, to Cleo "Pete" Leaman and Helen A. Tomlinson Wren, she was a lifelong resident. Kay was employed by Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator, for many years. She also worked at Wal-Mart as a checker and had worked at American Greetings for many years and was of the Baptist Faith.

Kay lived for and loved her family. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan and it didn't matter which sport, as long as it was an Arkansas Razorbacks sport. She loved her work and took great pride it. Kay loved politics and belonged to the Democratic Women's Association for many years. She enjoyed watching Fox News Channel, dog racing, when she was able but the best way she spent her time was when she was with her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, all of whom she absolutely adored.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, C.B. Wren.
She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Wren Guglielmana and husband, Gary, of Mt. View;
A sister-in-aw, Frankie Wren of Blytheville;

Nieces and nephews, Chuck Forman, Gregg Forman and wife, Pam, Michelle Pacheco, Brandon Wren and wife, Paula, and Nicole Wren Perkins and husband, Robert; and

Great-nieces and -nephews, Joe Forman, Anthony Forman, Martin Pacheco, Michael Pacheco, Raleigh Wren, Brenda Sue Wren, Brandon Wren Jr., Brittney Holifield and Ashley Perkins.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Elmwood Cemetery with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cobb Funeral Home.
