Glenn "Ed" Crawford, 66, of Rogers, died Thursday, Aug. 23, at St. Mary-Rogers Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 23, 1923, at Ravenwood, Mo., to Lucien Crawford and Lorena Gaukel Crawford, he had lived for the past 30 years in Rogers and worked 26 years for Rogers Coca Cola Co. until his retirement. He attended Rogers Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors are his wife, Jean Crawford; two daughters, Peggy Hinshaw and Debi Anderson, both of Rogers; two brothers, Kenneth Crawford of Pennsburg, Pa., and Robert Crawford of New Ulm, Texas; a sister, Mary Lockart of Independence, Mo.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Graveside service is set for 10 a.m. today at Rogers Cemetery, with the Rev. Fred E. Agee officiating. Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service of Rogers.

ROGERS — Edna "Jean" Crawford, age 78, of Rogers, passed away March 6, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center. Born in Garfield on Oct. 2, 1930, to Claude and Hannah O'Brien Staniford, she was a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She attended Rogers Schools and was a dietician, working with several local health care facilities. In 1960, she married Ed Crawford until he preceded her in death in 1990. She was a member of the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene and was a member of the "Come-Joy-N-Us" Sunday School class there.

She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Jean Phelan of Bentonville, Debi Anderson and husband Stephen "Andy" Anderson of Rogers; grandchildren, Sonjia Roy, Marcus Hinshaw, Kayci Anderson McKinley and husband Chris, Anndee Anderson Stringer and husband Chris; great grandchildren, Savannah Elkins, Chandra Roy, Genevieve Stringer; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virgie Luker and Dorothy Carithers.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today, Sunday, March 8, 2009, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in downtown Rogers. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Monday at the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene, 4911 West Pleasant Grove Road. The service will be officiated by Pastor Alan Johnson and burial will follow in the Rogers City Cemetery.

Memorials, in lieu of flowers, should be made to the building fund at Rogers First Church of the Nazarene.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home in downtown Rogers.
