Warren Shelton, 84, of Lavaca, Arkansas died Sunday, December 28, 2003, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was a disabled Army veteran of World War II, having received both the Bronze Battle Star and the Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, the Retired Military Association and the VFW Post No. 8383 in Delaware.
Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Measles Memorial Cemetery in Lavaca, Arkansas.
He is survived by two daughters, five stepdaughters, two sons, five sisters, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
