Mr. Jack Templeton, 57, of Weiner, Ark., died Friday, September 29, 1995 near Weiner, Ark. of a heart attack.
The youngest son of Homer and Helen Templeton, he was born January 14, 1938, in Tyler, Mo. Templeton served in the Army National Guard and lived his adult life in the Waldenburg-Weiner area. He was the owner-operator of Templeton Repair service in Waldenburg and was active in community activities. He was a member of the Waldenburg Baptist Church and of the Christian Brotherhood.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Mr. Templeton leaves his wife, Goldine Templeton of the home;
Two daughters, Michele Freeman of Weiner, Ark. and Amanda Grenno, of Weiner;
One brother, Terry Homer Templeton of Shaw, Miss.; and
One grandson.
Funeral services wre held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 1995, in the chapel of Farmers Union Funeral Home in Weiner with the Rev. George Rink officiating.
Burial was in the Waldenburg Cemetery with Farmers Union Fuenral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Donald Greeno, Bill Freeman, Frank Foster, Harold Gossett, Leon Aston, and Phillip Neal.
The family has asked that persons wishing to leave lasting memorials consider the Waldenburg Baptist Church.
